I founded HelpingUkraine in June 2022, just months after the full-scale war began. Watching the devastation unfold, I couldn’t stand by and simply write checks — I felt a deep calling to take action and make a tangible impact.
What started as a personal mission has grown into a powerful network of donors, volunteers, and partners working together to provide life-saving medical, psychological, and humanitarian aid to thousands of Ukrainians. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far:
💙 2,200+ children have received safety, education, and healing in camps, daycare schools, and rehabilitation centers. 💙 Over $1 million in medical supplies and $3 million in advanced wound care products have saved countless lives in hospitals and clinics. 💙 80 generators have brought electricity, warmth, and stability to hospitals, villages, and Hope Centers — supporting 5,850+ people.
But the need for support continues. Here are current projects urgently seeking funding:
🔹 Mobile Hospitals – Providing critical care in eastern Ukraine, serving 500 people per month. Funding Needed: $11,500 per unit
🔹 Children’s Center for Displaced Families – Delivering education and psychological support to 135 children in Kryvyi Rih. Funding Needed: $7,500
🔹 Resilience Points – Safe community spaces with meals, electricity, showers, laundry, and emotional support. Funding Needed: $2,500 per month
🔹 Diesel Stoves for the Sumy Region – Bringing warmth and safety to families affected by airstrikes. Funding Needed: $7,200 for 50 stoves
🔹 Elderly Shelter in Kharkiv – Providing care for 50 elderly individuals, including 22 who are bedridden. Funding Needed: $8,000
Every contribution — no matter the size — helps us deliver critical support and restore dignity to those in need.
