Kyiv, Ukraine – Yesterday was a powerful day on our journey to strengthen U.S.–Ukraine collaboration. Olga Gorman and I spent the day in the capital, meeting with visionary leaders committed to rebuilding Ukraine through innovation, investment, and international partnerships.
Our first meeting brought us to the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (AmCham), where we sat down with President Andy Hunder, Business Development Director Natalia Chervona, and representatives of the U.S. Commercial Service. The conversation centered around growing U.S.–Ukraine business cooperation, boosting regional economic development, and opening new doors for American companies interested in supporting Ukraine’s recovery.
These discussions weren’t theoretical—they were practical and hopeful. The focus is on action, on building long-term economic ties that uplift people, create jobs, and support freedom through business.
Later in the day, we visited the Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovation Companies, an exciting hub for Ukraine’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
Thank you to Rostislav Dyuk, Chairman of the Association, for sharing deep insights into Ukraine’s dynamic fintech sector. There is a strong sense of purpose in this community—a belief in using technology to drive progress and connect with international partners who share those values.
When you witness the determination and creativity of Ukrainian entrepreneurs—many operating under incredibly difficult conditions—you can’t help but feel inspired. These are the kinds of partnerships that will shape a better future, for Ukraine and for all of us.
How You Can Help Ukraine Today
At HelpingUkraine.US, our mission is to respond directly to Ukraine’s most urgent humanitarian needs. Right now, we’re raising funds to provide critical aid:
Portable generators to keep hospitals and shelters running
Emergency first aid kits, tourniquets, and bandages to save lives
Medical supplies and protective gear for frontline medics
We work closely with trusted Ukrainian organizations to make sure supplies reach the people who need them—fast, efficiently, and with transparency.
