Gwinnett-based HelpingUkraine.us announced in late January that thanks to year-end donations of nearly $150,000, the organization has crossed the $1 million milestone for providing relief for the eastern European country. There are about 10 new projects coming up which include drilling for wells, assistance to orphans and establishing day centers. Read more about HelpingUkraine’s milestone on the AJC.
