In the wake of war, the path to recovery begins with rebuilding the places we call home and the schools that shape children’s future.
Our project is dedicated to restoring not just physical structures, but also hope and stability within communities. By reconstructing homes and educational facilities, we are laying the foundation for a brighter, more resilient future where families can thrive and children can dream again.
Social Bakery in the liberated territory
Area: Kharkiv region
Status: Urgent Needs
Budget: $12,045
Impact: 3,300 people
We are launching a “Social Bakery” project in the de-occupied villages of Mali, Velyki Prohody, and Ruska Lozova in the Kharkiv region. This initiative will provide much-needed bread to local residents, many of whom have lost their homes and livelihoods due to the war. The bakery will also create jobs and help the community move toward economic recovery and self-sufficiency.
These communities have been severely impacted by the full-scale invasion of Russia, with widespread shelling and destruction of homes and infrastructure. Mali Prohodu and Velyki Prohodu have suffered the most, with 60-80% of buildings damaged or destroyed.
