Area: Kherson and Kharkiv Regions
Status: Urgent Needs
Budget: $25,000
Impact: 120 children

In response to the immense challenges faced by children from refugee families in the Kherson and Kharkiv regions, we establish a special camp in Zolotonosha City. This camp was designed to offer these children a safe haven where they could escape the harsh realities of war and experience a sense of normalcy.

The Zolotonosha City Camp provide a nurturing environment with various recreational activities, educational programs, and emotional support tailored to the needs of these young refugees. The camp aim to help them cope with the trauma they have experienced, rebuild their confidence, and foster a sense of community and belonging.

This project is not just about providing a temporary escape but about making a lasting impact on the lives of these children, helping them regain hope and resilience as they continue to navigate their difficult circumstances.

TESTIMONIALS

The Helping Ukraine.US team are, first and foremost, true friends who don’t abandon you in times of trouble. They are people who truly embody the saying: ‘There are no other people’s children.’  Together, we have assisted frontline hospitals, nursing homes in de-occupied territories, and saved the lives of our defenders.

Now, we are working together on a project for the psychological rehabilitation of internally displaced persons, orphans, widows, and military families. You are an incredibly strong support for us! We are unspeakably and endlessly grateful!

In Their Words: Why We Donate

I contributed to Helping Ukraine.US for three reasons. First, the Ukrainian people suffered a great injustice. Second, the Ukrainian people embrace democracy. Third, the Ukrainian people are willing to make immense sacrifices to keep their freedom.
